Welcome to GiftshopWala. This is our first post a food recipe. Hi friends today i am introducing with an amazing gobhi recipe. I know you are are getting bore by having regular gobhi alu, gobhi matar and all regular vegetables cooked with gobhi. This is something different and delicious in taste..This is basically prepared with whole cauliflower(small sized) with rich gravy of cashew nut and spices… so let’s prepare it as per below given instruction..
Gobhi Mussalam Recipe
2 small cauliflower (i used here a big one cutted in big pieces)
2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tbsp oil
1 cup grated onions
1 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1 tsp ginger (adrak) paste
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
i tsp curd
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 cup tomato puree
For The Garnish
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
Take out only florets from cauliflower and Keep the florets in the salted water with 1 teaspoon turmeric powder for five minutes. Keep aside.
In a bowl Add the ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin seeds powder, coriander seeds powder, remaining turmeric powder, garam masala, chilli powder and salt, curd and marinate the cauliflower with this pour some masala inside the florets cover it with a cling wrap or in a airtight container, keep this in deep freezer for half hour.
To prepare masala heat oil in a pan add grated onions, while the onion will turn brown make a tick paste of cashews or almonds whatever you have taken with the help of little milk and add this paste to masala then add tomato puree and cook till oil leaves the masala add salt as per taste to the masala now add the marinated cauliflower with extra remaining marinate to this prepared masala stir lightly so that masala can be mix up with cauliflower now let it be cooked for 10 min (untill cauliflower will get soft or compltely cooked).
Serve hot and garnished with chopped coriander with parathas , tandoori, puri etc..
