As the name indicates this gives Dhoka to the eater as he/she is not able to recognize which vegetable curry is it. This is yummy as well as healthy as this is prepared with gram flour(Besan)
1 bowl gram floor(beasn)
2-tspoon ginger paste
2-tspoon garlic paste
2- tspoon green chilli paste(you can take less as per your taste)
2-onion finelly chopped
1/2 spoon cumin seeds
1/2 spoon coriander powder
1/2 spoon red chillie powder
1 pinch of hing
1-pc of Cinnamon(dalchini)
1- Black cardamom(badi ilaichi)
3-4 black pepper
pinch of garam masala
freshly chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
1/2 spoon turmeric powder
Take gram floour in a bowl add salt ,1 tspoon garlic paste,1 tspoon ginger paster,2 tspoon chillie paste and one tspoon oil mix it well now nead a smooth dough with the help of little water and make small balls(laddoo size).
Keep aside and take 1 jug of water in a big pan and boil the water when water starts to boil add these balls to the boiling water and let them cooked on low flame for 10 minutes. When the besan balls are cooked nicely take them out of the water with the help of a sieve and let them cool for few minutes.
When your balls are at normal temperature cut them with the knife in four pieces and now take a pan and add oil to it when oil is properly heated add choped besan balls to it and fry them till they turn golden brown.(you can have these fried balls as snax with tea 🙂 )
Let’s prepare the gravy
Now take the besan balls out of the pan and add remaining oil to the pan and heat the oil now add zira,cloves,dalchini,badi ilaichi, ginger paste and garlic paste stir for 2 seconds now add chopped onion , grinded tomatoes, and all remaining spices and keep stirring while the masala is getting prepare on low flame, when masala will start to leave the oil add all besan balls, salt to taste and a pinch of garam masala and half glass of water(you can have gravy thick or thin as per your choice) let it get boiled for two minutes, garnish with freshly chopped coriander and serve hot with parathas, puris ,roti,rice or naan any one of your choice.
