Hi friend ,

chilling winter is going on what can be better in this weather having hari mirch k pakode with chai…

You must be thinking that hari mirch is already spicy so what will be filled inside it..So for Hari mirch k pakode we will take big and thick green chillies stuffed with spicy boiled potato ,peas or you can fill paneer, personally i prefer potato filling mixed with peas or corn.

Believe me its crunchy spicy flavor will amaze you..

Ingredients Of Hari Mirch Ke Pakode

  • 6 Green chillies (moti mirch, slit and deseeded)
  • For deep frying Oil
  • For the batter:
  • 1 Cup Besan/ gram flour
  • Cold water
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
  • To taste Salt
  • For the filling:
  • 1 Potato (mashed), boiled
  • To taste Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Zeera/ cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp amchoor powder(dried mango powder)

How to Make Hari Mirch Ke Pakode

  • In a bowl mix all the filling ingredients.
  • In another bowl mix all the batter ingredients. Adjust the water amount keeping the consistency medium-thick. Batter should not be too runny.
  • Split chillies in between and deseede them.
  • Fill the de-seeded chillies with the prepared filling. Dip in the batter and deep fry till golden and crisp.
  • Serve  hot with pudhina-dhania chutney or saunth or tea.
