You must have tasted mango chatni,imli chutney tomato chutney but believe me try once amde ki chatni it has to sour taste and very different and good taste.. i almost prepare this chutney in summers with pakodi , kachodi etc..

you can prepare pickle,sweat chutney..Its sourness has unique taste and whatever you prepare with amda its very rich in taste.. So lets try it..


20-30 whole ambda
1/2 tsp ajwain
1/2 saunf
1/2 hing
1/4 tsp kalaunji
3-4 whole red chillies
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
1/2 tsp oil
9-10 garlic cloves


Head oil in a pressure cooker add garlic cloves,ajwain,hing,kalaunji,red chillies, turmuric powder let them fry for a second now add ambda and salt and 150 ml of water and pressure cook for 8-10 whistle. Now let it be cool on a normal tempratue and mash with a masher to be convert to a normal paste.

Your ambde ki chutney is ready to serve you can have this with any meal.
